As I’ve noted in the comments, that feature is (hopefully only temporarily!) disabled in the new version of the plugin.

Hello, i’ve trying to use this plug-in according with your tutorial but when i change the Parameters Set i don’t get anything, i only see the fist fractal image. What can i do?

The new port of AEFlame is sadly missing the presets that make the “Parameter Set” slider work.

Fun to use and easy. Best approach play around with first two settings in animation as I found Parameter Set did nothing most probably me.

As in the screen grabs I moved the Parameter Set two 244 and I did not get the image to change at all.

But I play around with other settings and have some interesting effects. It is all about experimenting. Rob and thank you Victoria Nece.

As I noted in the update, the current port of AEFlame doesn’t include the preset file that Parameter Set picks from, so it doesn’t work with this version. Last I heard the devs were looking into putting it back in.

Changing the Parameter Set (step #1) has virtually no effect for me. Got any ideas why? CS5 MacOS 10.6.8. Thanks!

I’m afraid the new version of the plugin is completely missing the parameter set feature — it’s really frustrating! I’ve sent the file to the plugin creators and they’re hoping to include it in the next release.

Hi Victoria, thanks for your fantastic tutorial. I’m having real trouble with this plug-in. I’m using CS4 on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and first of all I tried the new CS4/5 version. This didn’t show up in the effects menu at all, so I tried the old version on your advice. This appears to work, but the all important Parameter Set slider doesn’t do anything! Can you suggest what might be causing the problem?
